A weekly review of junior cyclocross in the United States — built on verified results and sourced racing ages, with a focus on New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

What this is

cxJRs covers cyclocross racers under 19 — in junior fields and in open fields.

Many juniors, especially the oldest, race in open categories, where the results sheet shows a name, a team and a time but no age. cxJRs reads those fields too, so their results aren’t missed.

Coverage

• Core region — NY, NJ, CT and PA: race-by-race write-ups, plus athletes from those four states racing anywhere.
• Near-region events our athletes travel to (MD, DE, MA and the rest of New England) when they field our riders.
• National roundup: notable junior results elsewhere in the US. This is a selection, not an exhaustive list.
• Age scope: everything under 19.
